Robert Evans

Robert Edwin Evans affectionately known as “Rob” was born on December 23,1961 in Pompano Beach, Florida to the parents of Mr. Lavern McMillan & Mrs. Virda Mae Evans McDonald. He attended public schools in Broward County, and he was a basketball superstar at Blanche Ely High School, and he obtained his diploma at Deerfield Beach High School and then he furthered his education at Florida College of Business and received his diploma of computer science. At an early age he become a member of First Zion Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of the late Rev. Kitchen where he was an active member on the usher board. In 2012 he had a plan, and he had his eye on the love of his life. After date nights, enjoying each other and several floral arrangements he showered her with. 2013 he made the decision to marry the love of his life Mrs. Dauphine Evans. He enjoyed watching the hottest tv series “Power” with the love of his life. Many memories were created as they took trips and traveled the world together. He enjoyed watching football and basketball with some good food nearby. He was a great host when you were invited over to his house but there was one name, he always called to serve the guest and that was “DAUPHINE”. He enjoyed the home improvement projects and working in his yard ensuring the house looks good. He was a hardworking man and always made sure he showed up to work. After many days and years of hardworking, enjoying sports, the hottest tv show and enjoying the best food and traveling the world his health started failing him. Through it all his loving devoted wife was right by his side. On the day that is nationally celebrated as “love” day he took his last breath at 7:17pm on February 14, 2024. His father Lavern McMillan proceeded him in death, His grandparents Vinson & Alice (Madea) Evans who he loved dearly proceeded him in death. His brother Arthur (AL) McDonald Jr. who he always talked about, and he missed so much proceeded him in death. He leaves to mourn the love of his life and wife Mrs. Dauphine Evans. His (biological) 3 Children; Robert Dixon, Natalie (Jamel) Servance, Reshaud Baker. Bonus 3 Children; Tequila (Charles) Wilson, Tommie Whitfield Jr., Deanthony Butler. A very special daughter Ebony Dixson. His grandchildren; Carlos Dixon, Zabrien Muff, Ziya Jones. A very very special kid who he loves dearly and took him in as his grandchild, Dalvin. Parents; Arthur (MAC) & Virda Mae Evans McDonald. His brothers; Bernard McDonald, Adrian McDonald, Lavern McMillan Jr., Rodney Wright, Kelvin Scott. His sisters; Virtrina (Anthony) Singleton, Tasha McDonald, Deborah Harris, Adrienne McMillan, Cynthia Barr, Pamela Martin.
