A Celebration of Life “And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away, and be at rest. Psalm 55:6 Patricia Ann Campbell, affectionately known as “Trisha Ann”, resident of Pompano Beach, FL, rested from her labor, at Broward General Hospital Hospice. Her strong will to live and the love and prayers of family, friends and many supporters carried her through 58 wonderfully blessed years. She was born on June 29, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL to Walter Mason, Sr. and Dorothy Campbell. She lived in Jacksonville Beach, FL, where she received early education and after moving to Pompano Beach, FL she completed her education at Pompano Beach High School. Her employment life was with Popeye’s Fried Chicken and Broward County School Board as a School Crossing Guard. Known for her ease in frequent conversation with even total strangers, Patricia Ann possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling and laughter, will never be forgotten. Patricia loved to write, read, solve word search puzzles, play Bingo, play games/cards and chat with friends and family. The urn that Trisha Ann’s earthly remains will be held in nicely sums up, in one sentence, how fondly she will be remembered: Our Angel that lived, laughed, and loved. Patricia Ann was the guardian angel of the family and the tender hand of love for all who knew her. Anyone who spent any time around her knew of her love and adoration for her children and grandchildren. Albert Einstein once said, “Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life.” So, let us celebrate the victorious life of Patricia Ann and continue her legacy. She celebrated 58 years on June 29, 2016. On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, God welcomed her home to Glory. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Estella Campbell, Walter Campbell (Precious), Debbie Mason; parents, Dorothy Campbell Atkins and Walter Mason, Sr. (Ruby); sister, Maryland Barrett Unis; daughter, Natalie Campbell; uncles, Walter Campbell, Jr. and Lemmie Campbell, Sr., and longtime friend, Leon. Patricia Ann Campbell leaves to cherish her memory: children, Vincent Campbell (Lakita), Shalandra Moses (Roy), Walter Campbell; stepfather, John Barrett (Ruby); brothers, Glenn Barrett, Pompano Beach, FL, Walter Mason, Jr., Arlington VA; sisters, Mona Barrett (Michelle), Allenhurst, GA, Barbara Mason, Millen, GA, Ineaik Peoples (Donnie), Metter, GA, Fanelphia Mason, Metter, GA; grandchildren, Vincent Jr., Dedrick, Brandon, Naketrice, Cierra, Cameron, Sharelle; great granddaughter, A‵skiya Campbell; great aunts, Irish Rose Kennedy, Mary McCollough;12 aunts; 5 uncles, many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other supportive family and special friends.
