Moselyne Mathieu

On May 9th, 2022 Moselyne Quimpsie Mathieu received her wings and transitioned from her life on earth to eternity with God. Moselyne was born in Cap Haitien, Haiti. on February 13th, 1992 to the proud parents of Joceline Seraphin and Quimps Mathieu. She later migrated to the United States of America, to be raised alongside her mother and father, at the age of 6 years old. She matriculated through her educational years at Pompano Beach Elementary, Crystal Lake Middle School and Blanche Ely High School graduating with the class of 2010. Moselyne then graduated from The illustrious Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with her Baccalaureate degree. As the oldest of four children, she was an inspiration to her younger siblings. Moselyne was a role model in the Mathieu household for Alice, Jeremiah and Joshua Mathieu. Her passion to give back to others and serve her community, all while being a vessel for professional and personal development, led her to become a Biology teacher through the Broward County School Board at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. During her career as an educator, Moselyne has proved herself to be selfless, dependable, dedicated, trustworthy, resilient and most importantly impactful in her students lives. Many would say "Ms. M was a teacher turned to big sister" through her encouraging personality, and the heartfelt advice she would give. Moselyne had a personality that was so vibrant, it lit up every room she stepped into. Her bubbly, effervescent smile was bright enough to cheer up anyone's day. She left a lasting impression on your heart, no matter the interaction. She had a gift for connecting with others and always provided a listening ear. She had sweet, loving, tender and unforgivable spirit. Her creativity effortlessly shined in everything she did. From praise dancing at Berean Baptist Church as an adolescent, to her personal style, she was the artist and the world was her canvas. She enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, living out her wildest dreams and making lemonade when life gave her lime. Yes! She would figure out a way to get lemons, whenever life provided her with limes. Moselyne was a fighter, she was hardworking and a "go-getter. Anything she wanted she would go after it until she obtained it. Her traditions, her lioness personality, her unconditional and unwavering love will be remembered and will continue to live on from generation to generation in spirit. As a loving daughter, sister, friend and teacher she will forever shine on us in heaven.
