Josue Saint-Remy

Josue “Joe” Saint Remy was born on March 7,1956 to the late Paulilia Taylor Saint Remy and Eldieu Saint Remy in La Tortue in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. He was the third child of six children which consist of four girls and two boys. Joe and his siblings were raised to always trust in God and to always put God first in all that they do. Joe received his education at Baerraca in La Pointe, Haiti. Soon after graduating he would leave Haiti in search of a better opportunity and would come to the US in 1973. Joe worked numerous jobs while searching for an opportunity to start his own business. He would own his own stand at the Swap Shop and was truly a great businessman. After working at the Swap Shop for over 10 years he then began working for Grenadier Construction in 1995. While working at this construction company Joe would develop a love for the beautiful landscaping after each job was completed. Upon leaving Grenadier, he began working within his own yard more and more until he perfected his lawn. His neighbors and friends would take notice at his work and would then want him to beautify their lawn as well. This helped to motivate him and soon after, Joe’s Lawn service was established. Joe married Yanique Saint Remy on December 29,1994, to this union two children were born. One daughter Bianca Saint Remy and one son Steven Saint Remy who preceded him in death. Joe loved his family and friends dearly and welcomed everyone with open arms. He believed in family traditions and loved to celebrate holidays surrounded by his loved ones. He would host numerous family get togethers especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Joe was a true prayer warrior that trusted in God each day and hour, he taught his family to do so as well. His love and devotion for God was evident in every aspect of his life. He served his family; he served his church, and he served his God faithfully. Joe was a devoted member of New Jerusalem Church Academy Center in Pompano Beach for over 20 years. He obtained many roles ranging from Treasurer, Choir Member, Deacon and was on the Trustee Board. In his spare time Joe enjoyed watching football, wrestling, joking, loved dressing up and talking to his family and friends especially Pastor and Sir Jonas. On October 6,2022, the Lord called me home. He let me know that my mansion was completed and that it was time to move in. He then gave me permission to go ahead and change my address. It is no longer on this earth. My new home is finished, fully furnished, oh what a sight to behold. It is located on an exclusive estate behind a beautiful pearly gate, with streets paved of gold. Here in my new home, there is no pain, heartaches, strife or discontent. I could go on and on about my home, but I can only hope that you’ll get here someday. I no longer have a phone, but you can always call on God! If you don’t have his number read your Bible, Jesus number is listed on every page. Now our beloved Joe may rest now from all his labor. He surrendered his last breath at 66 years old to join the kingdom and fulfilling the promise of seeking everlasting life. Although we are deeply saddened by his passing, we will continue to be comforted by the fact that he did not live his life without happiness and joy. He leaves to cherish his memory
