Daisey Mae Gauldin

Obituary The late Mrs. Daisey Mae Gauldin was born on September 4, 1946, to the blessed union of the late Deotha and Leona Stewart in Waycross, Georgia. She received her formal education at Coleman Elementary and Blanche Ely High in Pompano Beach, Florida. Mrs. Daisey Gauldin accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and served faithfully at Antioch Baptist Church on the Mother Board under the leadership of Pastor Willie Harris and First Lady Brigette Harris. She was united in holy matrimony with Mr. John Gauldin in Tampa, Florida. Together they were blessed with five beautiful children. Mrs. Daisey Gauldin was employed by the Century Village Retirement Community as Lead Housekeeper for over 20 years, before moving to Griffin, Georgia in 2004. In her leisure time Mrs. Daisey enjoyed praising the Lord, calling and visiting family and friends, cooking, and she most certainly loved giving back to education by way of playing the Georgia Lottery. (LOL) On Thursday, February 9, 2023, Mrs. Daisey Mae Gauldin, surrendered her earthly life and gained her wings to be with her Heavenly Father. Her family and friends are at peace knowing that there will always be an angel watching over them. She was predeceased by her parents, Deotha and Leona Stewart; ex-husband, John Gauldin; companion, Mike Rowel; son, Alfonso Stewart; brothers, Howard Stewart, Tommy Stewart, Nathaniel; sister, Geraldine Daniel; and nieces, Wendy and Gwen and Daniels. Mrs. Daisy Mae Gauldin leaves her precious memories to be cherished in the hearts of her sons, John (Margaret) Stewart, Harry (Donald) Gauldin, Jeffrey (Lasonja) Gauldin, and Christopher (Sandra) Gauldin; sisters, Francis Stewart, and Clarice Morgan; brothers, Charles Stewart, Eddie Stewart, and Terry Green; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Gauldin and Patricia Williams; grandsons, Jason Gore, Christopher Gauldin, Jr., and Jeffery Gauldin, Jr.; granddaughters, April Byrd and Tiffany Gauldin; great grandson, Jason Gore, Jr.; great granddaughter with a special spiritual bond Alani J., close friend Deborah Fields; and 17 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss her dearly.
