Sister Virginia McGrit Brantley was born on July 03, 1943 to the late William (Bill) McGrit and Leola McGrit in Soperton, Georgia. Sister Virginia affectionately known too many as Gingia, was educated in the Broward County School System. She attended Blanche Ely High. She was employed by the school board of Broward County where she worked as a cafeteria worker for a number of years. We were graced with a devoted, divine and delicate woman of God. Sister Virginia, accepted the Lord as her personal sav- ior at an early age. She join the House of God Keith Dominion, in Pompano Beach, Florida, under the leadership of Elder B.J. McCormick. Where she served faithfully, as an usher, a member of the choir and faithful servant of God. Also under the leadership of Rev. Herbert, Elder Larry Taylor and the present pastor Elder Clara McCormick. On January 05, 2018 God summoned his angels to carry Sister Virginia, to a beautiful place called heaven. A place where there is No more sickness No more pain. In her departure from this world. She leaves to cherish in her loving memories. Under the union of her late husband Terry Brantley Jr. they are survived by their children,Veronda Brown, who precedes her in death. Terry Brantley III (Shea) of Pompano Beach, FL, Gary Brantley (Melzina) of North Lauderdale, FL, Keith Brantley of Pompano Beach, FL, Celestine Brantley Wright (Balvin), of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Tyrone Brantley Sr. (Nickey) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Erica Brantley- Souffrance (Elie) of Oakland Park, FL, five brothers and one sister. Ben, William, Primes, Eula C. all precedes her in death. Robert Mc Grit and Bettye McGrit Crume, Both of Pompano Beach, FL. Three sisters in law Jessie Mae of Pompano Beach, FL, Dorothy McGirt of Fritgerld and Mildred Mc Girt of Fort Lauderdale, Sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grands, Special Great Granddaughter (Kamira Brown) Special Friends, Erleen Blue, Clara, Betty Joe, Freddie Jean, Mother Blue and Family, Special Cousin (Johnny & Trisha) A host of sorrowing relatives, neighbors and friends.
