Obituary Vincent Craig Jackson was born June 18, 1960, to the parentage of the late Amos Jackson, Sr. and Alberta Wilson Jackson in Boca Raton, Florida. He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Boca Raton, FL. He attended Sanders Park Elementary, Crystal Lake Middle and was a proud graduate of Blanche Ely High School class of 1978, where he was a member of the fighting Tigers baseball & football team and given the nickname "Captain Jack". His education continued at Morehouse College, in Atlanta Georgia, where he also was a member of "The House" Maroon Tiger football team. After leaving Morehouse, Craig made the decision to make the Atlanta area his home, residing there for the last 42 years. Craig was employed with Pepsi-Cola Metropolitan Bottling Company, Bellsouth Telecommunications Company and Comcast Cable Company. Craig loved traveling, visiting family and friends from near and far. He was a very proud uncle to all his nieces and nephews. If you held a conversation with Craig, you were going to hear what's going on with his nieces and nephews’ lives. He was also known as the family, Fred Sanford; he loved collecting items, getting bargains and deals for the entire family and neighborhood. He departed this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in Snellville Georgia. He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Joyce Marie Jackson, of Pompano Beach, FL, Tammy (Tony) Rogers of Coconut Creek, FL; three brothers, Amos (Desiree') Jackson, Jr. of Greenacres, FL, Carlton (Kathy) Jackson of North Lauderdale, FL, and Reginald Jackson of Pompano Beach, FL; a loving friend and former wife, Susan Simms of Snellville GA; five aunts; Evelyn Mitchell, Ernestine Holiday, Shirley Wilson, Marian (Jimmy) Weatherspoon, of Delray Beach, FL, Dorothy Daniels of Opp, Alabama, one uncle, Reverend Plezy Lee Nelson of Leslie Georgia , loving nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
