Maxine Fields Earthly Journey “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants” Psalms 116:15 Mother Maxine Fields was born on July 24, 1929 in Alamo, Georgia. On Thursday, November 4, 2021 she took her wing and transitioned from life on earth to eternity with God. Maxine Fields was born to James and Gussie Fountain. Maxine grew up under very loving and strict parents. Struggling to survive the hard and difficult ties of the deep south. Maxine worked tirelessly to support her family. In 1950 Maxine relocated from Alamo, Ga to Pompano Beach, FL with Benny and Castella. It was here that she met and married Dillard Fields, Jr. on September 5, 1953. With this union was born Larry Wayne, Maxy Ronald, Robert, Donald and Arnold. Together they raised all eight children to love, protect, and support each other. Maxine Fields is preceded in by her Sisters: Della Mae Riley(John), Tommy Lee Moore(John), Josephine Hughes(Andrew) and Julia Bell Sanford(Sam). Brothers: Henry Fountain(Grace), Claude Fountain, James Fountain and Oliver “Reed” Fountain(Victoria). She also preceded in death by four Sons: Benny(Betty), Larry, Wayne Douglas(Mildred) and Maxy Ronald(Betty). Mother Maxine Fields leaves to mourn her passing her Husband of sixty-eight years Dillard Fields, Jr., her daughter Castella(Larry) and three Sons: Robert(Marie), Donald(Lillian) and Arnold(Oriental). One Sister Lucille Murray(Mario) and over One hundred fifty grands, great grands, and great-great grandchildren, spanning five generations. Her deep and abiding love for her family was second only to her love of JESUS CHRIST. As a member of Thomas Temple Church of God In Christ for over 50 years. Maxine put her faith in action by serving on the #1 Usher Board and the #1 Choir. She gave her talent, time and resources as God led her. While living the faith she claimed, she raised her children to know JESUS for themselves.
