Kavice Lavelle Conner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

There was a party in heaven on July 2, 2022 and Kavice Lavelle Conner was the Guest of Honor. Kavice graced us with his presence to the world on January 22, 1968, born to the late Albert Conner & Shirley Conner. Raised by his parents under the fear and admonition of the Lord, Kavice and his siblings were destined for greatness. Such a young vibrant spirit Kavice, (affectionately known as BC) would go on to desire a love for basketball. Kavice attended and played basketball at South Plantation High School and was one of the TOP NOTCH Calculus Students out. After graduation Kavice went on to play college basketball at Paducah College located in Paducah, Kentucky. While attending college, Kavice would later loose one of his greatest inspirations, his father. Kavice then decided to leave college and return home to work in his father business as a concrete finisher. He took his work very seriously, as he was a firm believer that his family deserved the finer things in life. In 1989 Kavice met his wife and they got married on July 25, 1997. Kavice lived a life devoted to Christ, his wife and three children. Kavice had a heart for people, his neighbors and his community was infectious. He always extended a helping hand to his community encouraging not only his kids success in basketball, but others as well. Kavice made sure that his children continued the legacy of basketball. He taught them his skill firsthand and anyone that wanted to learn it. All the kids in the neighborhood would refer to him as “BC” as he shared life’s lessons and experiences with them. He was like the Uncle/Father that some never had. He was also passionate about his love for football and was a true diehard Miami Dolphins fan win or lose! Kavice continued to work hard and become the businessman he was destined to be. When he left us, he was in the midst of starting his own Landscaping and Irrigation company. He leaves to cherish his memories to, his loving wife, Raquel Conner; Children: Leedra Turner, Fredrick Conner, Kianna Conner; Mother: Shirley Conner; Brothers: Vincent E.
