Barbara Ann Murphy-Jordan was born on May 14, 1959, to the late Abraham and Ethel Mae Murphy in her hometown of Deerfield Beach, FL. Barbara was raised in the City of Deerfield where she was educated through the Broward County School System. Barbara was an ambitious and self-driven person which led her to pursue a career at Regency Park Retirement Facility. While working there and due to her ambitious drive she was promoted and quickly landed a leadership role and was able to provide 18 years of service. She retired, and later become a homemaker. In 2008, Barbara rededicated her life to the Lord and returned back to the very church she grew up in; The House of God, Presiding Bishop Frank Green Sr. where she served as an Usher, faithful servant. She volunteered with the youth department and women ministry. Barbara had a contagious smile and effortlessly connected with everyone she became in contact with from all walks of life. Barbara had such a love for people; because of her love of people she was able to meet the love of her life Felix Nathaniel Jordan of St. Andrew, Barbados and together they created a history lasting up to 35 years of love. On September 15, 2019, she departed from earth to take a new journey in heaven. She leaves behind her loved ones. They will cherish her and continue her legacy. Barbara leaves behind her Husband, Felix N. Jordan, children; Keith D Murphy, Ladameon L. Murphy Sr. and devoted DAUGHTER Tequila (Gerald) Walters all reside in the city of Deerfield Beach, FL; brothers: John (Willie) Murphy, and Billy Murphy of Deerfield Beach, FL, (preceeding in death Abraham Murphy Jr.); brother in law: Johnny Barrow of Brimingham, England; sisters: Jenny Murphy and Geneva (Craig) Davis of Deerfield Beach, FL, Annie Murphy-Perkins of Atlanta, GA, Venus Murphy of Port Saint Lucie, FL, (preceding in death Diane Roberts, Shirley Hall and Linda Murphy); 10 grandchildren: Dalvin and Autumn Vildale, Zorie Harris of Atlanta, GA, Keiera Parrish, of Tallahassee, FL, Ladameon Murphy Jr, of Pompano Beach, FL, Timmara Daniels, Gerald Jr, Jordan, Joshua and London-Taylor Walters of Deerfield Beach, FL. One great- grandson Tyler Robinson: BELOVED Aunt: Mary E. Prioleau of Jersey City, New Jersey. A host of niece and nephews, dears friends and extended family members. She will always be loved and remembered.
