Annie White Brown

August 6, 1951 - April 2, 2020

At the age of 68, “My Ann” passed away peacefully on April 2, 2020 at North Broward Hospital in Pompano Beach, Florida. Born on August 6, 1951 in Marianna, Florida, to the late Ms. Annie Pearl White. She attended elementary and middle school in her hometown. At an early age, her family relocated to Pompano Beach, Florida. She graduated from Blanche Ely High School with the Class of 1969. Furthering her education on at Colorado State University, majoring in Business. After College, she had an exciting 20 year career in electronics, where she used her technical expertise and ultimately retired. After her retirement, she felt the need to take on the Healthcare world and decided to care for the elderly until her untimely death. “My Ann” was happily married to Robert Brown, who until his death in 2018, was her lifetime partner. She also cared deeply for her son with paws, “Snowball.” Everyone who knew “My Ann” loved her for her kind and sweet spirit. She had a bright and energetic personality that showed through her contagious laugh. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She had a forever love for Makeup, which unforgettably included her Red lipstick and she never left home without her dark shades. Our Mother, Our Matriarch, Our Angel will truly be missed. “My Ann” is survived by her three children: Tony White (Clair), Tamara P. Smith and one stepson Derrick Brown. Four Grandchildren: Latia Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Willie Johnson III & Talissa Johnson. Five Great Grandchildren. Two Brothers: Michael White (Loretta) & Bruce White. Three Sisters: Gloria Wright, Regina White Williams & Lisa Ann White. One Godchild: Tonya Render and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. In addition to her mother Ms. Annie Pearl White, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Steve White, Patricia Smith, and Yvonne White.
