BIOGRAPHY WILLY VILFRANC SEPTEMBER 01, 1943 – APRIL 16, 2022 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalms 23:6 Willy Vilfranc, 78 years old of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on April 16, 2022 after a long battle with diabetes. Willy Vilfranc was born to Siguel and Tenaise Vilfranc on September 1, 1943 in Cabaret, Haiti. Having to leave school at a young age, he worked with his father and older brother as a farmer. In 1966, he met Marie Celia Annilysse, and they were joined in Holy Matrimony in 1969, blessed to this union were 2 children, Mathias and Wislande. He also had another son William. In 1973 left Haiti in search of a better life to the Bahamas and later moved to the United States and he was reunited by his family in 1985. He worked in the maintenance department at FAU for 16 years and two different Golf Clubs in Boca Raton, FL. He also had a passion for business, for many years he worked as a Network Marketer promoting and selling various products. Willy was a hard worker, resilient figure in face of adversity. Even in his illness, Willy was never angry. When asked how he was doing, he would always answer "bagay yo gro neg men nap combat", meaning “things are hard, but we're fighting”. He could find the silver lining in every situation; his Selflessness and Generosity were two traits that highlighted his personality. He is survived by his: Wife: Marie Celia Vilfranc Children: Son, Mathias Vilfranc, Daughter & Son-in-Law, Wislande & Gerald Bellanton and Son, William Vilfranc Grandchildren: Granddaughters, Narlie, Billie, Anecia Vilfranc and Grandson, Zachary Gerald Bellanton. Siblings: Arnold Vilfranc, Irodia Vilfranc and Islande Vilfranc Nieces & Nephews: Arnel Vilfranc, David Vilfranc, Vanessa Vilfranc, Yvenel Vilfranc, Axed Vilfranc, Elise Belizaire, Serge Noel, Islaine Tanis, Nesline Gaberiel, Roberta Noel, Robert Noel, Martha Fluerinord, Marie Vilfranc, Jerry Vilfranc, Marc Vilfranc and Juliette Vilfranc Cousins: Meance, Ductan, Placide, Desilien, Timolien, Beaubrum, Francois, Jovin, Noel and Joseph “We are proud to have been able to call him a Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather & Uncle.”
