Veronique Desinor

With profound love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Veronique Desinor, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother to many, faithful servant of God, and dear friend whose kindness touched countless lives. Born and raised in Haiti, Veronique met the love of her life, whom she would later marry. While her husband journeyed to the United States in search of greater opportunities for their family, she remained in Haiti, faithfully caring for their children with unwavering strength, patience, and love. Her devotion to her family never faltered. In 1979, with remarkable courage and faith, Veronique embarked on a life-changing journey to reunite with her husband in the United States. She arrived with hope in her heart and the American dream before her. Through perseverance, hard work, and God's grace, she built a beautiful life for her family in her new home. Veronique dedicated many years working in the hospitality industry as a homemaker before continuing her career as a valued hospitality team member at a nursing home, where she faithfully served until her retirement. She took pride in caring for others and brought warmth and compassion wherever she worked. Beyond her professional life, Veronique opened her home and heart to countless children as a babysitter. To many, she became affectionately known as "Grandma." Her patience, gentle spirit, and unconditional love brought comfort, joy, and countless smiles to every child she cared for. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She faithfully served at her local church and inspired those around her to walk with Christ through both her words and, more importantly, her example. She lived with grace, humility, and a servant's heart. Veronique also knew how to celebrate life. She loved spending time with family and friends, attending gatherings, listening to music, and dancing. Her joyful laughter, warm smile, and vibrant personality could light up any room. In her later years, her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. Whether sharing stories, laughing together, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments became treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Veronique leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, compassion, resilience, and selfless service. Her life reminds us that true greatness is found not in wealth or recognition, but in the love, we give, the faith we live, and the lives we touch. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
