Terryson Jackson

Terryson Jackson was born on August 2nd, 1973, to Oliver Jackson and Dorothy Jno Finn in The Commonwealth of Dominica. Terryson pursued his dreams to become a paramedic firefighter when he relocated to Florida in 1989. He graduated from McArthur High School in 1991 and began playing golf in 1992. He excelled in his dreams to become a paramedic firefighter and started his career in Deerfield in 2004. He later became a Lieutenant in November of 2011, and worked in Air Rescue with BSO in 2012. As Terryson excelled in his career path he became a BSO Captain on 2/24/2016. He was posthumously promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief on 8/29/2023. Terryson’s love of sports, led him to compete in the Sheriff’s Cup Golf Tournament. He also participated in several of the Firefighter Game Competitions playing soccer and basketball, he was an integral part of the team as they won countless games and awards for the agency. Terryson is survived by his two children: son - Jalen Jackson and daughter - Mikaella Jackson; his sisters: Sherma Jackson, Heather Lestrade, Sanjie Jackson and Versan Johnson; and brothers: Sergeant Cleavone Brooks, and Javer Jackson.
