Rakel Moise

Rakel Moise, 89, passed away sadly February 14, 2021, leaving behind many family members to continue on with his legacy. Rakel was born January 15, 1932, in a small town of Haiti (bombardopolis), his early life as a child, his father Moise Flerima and mother Cyrillia Cyrilliem used to work in both agriculture and small stand businesses. Rakel had 5 brothers and 2 sisters, Orel Moise (deceased), Felix Moise (deceased), Alius Moise (deceased), Loreste Moise (alive), Momtrial Moise (deceased), Cynallia Moise (deceased), Jenuenia Moise (deceased). Later on in Rakel’s life, he soon had 12 children, Acnel Moise, Dieulange Journailer, Ewis Moise, Dieulane Voltaire, Meyisson Moise, Bruno Moise, Brusnel Moise, Aline Moise, Aristhene Moise, Miracien Sejour, Marie-Lenise Moise, and Love-Evethanise Moise, 10 of them belonging to Inetede Sejour. Throughout Rakel’s life, he spent most of his time in Haiti doing agriculture and providing for his children so that way he could leave something behind. Rakel was indeed blessed beyond measures and never let his age stop him from doing anything, no matter how hard he struggled with his health, he never let it build its way to destroy him. He was the true definition of a fighter with a generous soul. Rakel loved to tell stories to everyone and always kept smiling that beautiful smile. The amount of love he had for his grandchildren and great grandchildren was insurmountable, he believed that being able to be with them made him “stronger” and also “very happy”. Rakel has left behind his grandchildren: Jamesly Voltaire, Steeven Voltaire, Gasline Journalier, Acnadaise Moise, Adrianna Moise, Acdedson Moise (deceased), Elmise Sejour, Awisgen Moise (deceased), Stendhal Moise, Skermine Matthania Moise, Rosecarine Sejour, Cattchy Sejour, Wilder Sejour, Minouse Jacob Sejour, Jade Moise, and Erwin Samuel Moise. Great grandchildren: Amari Rakel Moise and Addams Fleurisma Sejour. The legacy of Rakel Moise will continue to live on through the old and new generation of children, grand children’s, great grandchildren, and so on! He will forever be remembered in our hearts for all the love he has given us. All of our deepest condolences goes out to those who were affected by this tragedy which includes Julliette’s Family, Evette’s Family, Masline’s Family, Lonel’s Family, Clomane’s Family, Foufoune’s Family, Jean Roman’s Family, Marie, Caline, Jean Macel, Vulbrun’s Family, Menise’s Family, Iramane’s Family, Manga’s Family, Aloud’s Family, Bernadine’s Family, and Etulia’s Family. Also, the Octave family, Lanot Family, Ceant Family, and the Cyllient Family.
