In Loving Memory of Paul Claivilus March 14, 1962 – June 13, 2026 With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life and legacy of Paul Claivilus. Born on March 14, 1962, Paul was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, caring brother, loyal friend, and a man whose presence could never go unnoticed. His strength, humor, and unwavering spirit left an unforgettable mark on everyone blessed to know him. Paul dedicated much of his life to serving both his community and his family through years of faithful employment. He worked as a grocer for Publix before continuing his career with Empath and Trustbridge Hospice, where his compassion and dedication reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to helping others. To know Paul was to know laughter. He had a larger-than-life personality, a quick wit, and an unmatched ability to keep a conversation going for as long as anyone would listen. Whether cheering on a soccer match, enjoying a cold beer, or playfully talking trash with family and friends, Paul found joy in life’s simple pleasures. His sense of humor was contagious, and he had a remarkable way of bringing smiles to those around him. Rarely would you see him shed tears, for he chose instead to face life with resilience, strength, and laughter. Above all, Paul’s greatest treasure was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Azelina Claivilus, with whom he shared two children, Markendy Claivilus and Claunese Claivilus. He also leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Paulina Claivilus, whom he shared with Zelina Joseph. His legacy continues through his cherished grandson, Theoden VanOrden Jean, whose life brought him immense pride and happiness. Paul is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Claudette Fenelon and Lerina Jean Baptiste. He was preceded in death by his beloved older sister, Enavia Jean Baptiste, whose passing just one week before his own makes their reunion all the more meaningful to those who find comfort in faith. Though our hearts mourn his absence, we are comforted by the countless memories he leaves behind. His laughter still echoes in our hearts, his stories remain etched in our minds, and the love he shared continues to strengthen those he leaves behind. His life reminds us that even in difficult times, there is always room for joy, for laughter, and for love. As we bid farewell, we celebrate not only the years Paul lived, but the lives he touched. His legacy will endure through the family he loved, the friends he cherished, and the memories that will forever be treasured.
