Olivia Wilson

Olivia “Verg” Wilson passed away peacefully August 1st 2026 at the age of 75 surrounded by her loved ones. Olivia, better known as Verg, was born on February 9, 1951 in Elloree, South Carolina to Mary Brown and to the late Paul Brown. They then moved to Florida in 1953. Born Into a large and loving family of 8 she was a cherished sister to Malachi Brown (deceased), Paul Brown Jr, Martha Lee Robinson(Deceased), Richard Brown (deceased),Charles “Sweet Water” Brown (deceased), Helen Brown and Willie Brown (Rowanna). She attended Pompano project school and Blanche Ely High school and later went to pursue a career with the Broward County school board as a baker. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She faithfully watched church services online and remained connected to her church family. As a devoted member of the Women of Wisdom group at AGAPE International Christian Fellowship, she found strength, fellowship, and joy in God's Word. Her unwavering faith and love for Christ were evident in the way she lived and will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Olivia was married to the late Frank Wilson Jr and together they had 5 kids. Tongua, Aretha, Frank lll, Tedrick ”Shaquanda” & Michael ”Abril”. Olivia’s love and legacy continues through her grandchildren: Trenton, Berlin, Khambrel, Asia, Tichina, Tarvarus, Tyrese, Gregory, Tedrick Jr, Michael Jr, Trinity, Shamiya & Tarek. She is now peacefully reunited with her beloved grandchildren Jessica & Desmond whose memories she held close to her heart. Her legacy also lives on in her four precious great grandchildren, Taylor, Delvin Jr, Kailee and Taliah who brought her smiles, and sweet memories. One of the greatest joys of her life was being surrounded by the people she loved. She had a vibrant spirit and a heart that made everyone feel welcome. Whether she was dancing with a smile that could light up a room, preparing a delicious meal for family and friends, or simply enjoying time together, she created moments that will be cherished forever. Her love was shown through her laughter, her generosity, and the way she brought people together. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a loving circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
