Marietta Webb

Marietta Lenora Webb was born on August 3, 1970, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, to the late Alice Webb and Unis L. Webb Jr. As a proud military brat, her early education began in Germany and continued across various states before she eventually settled in Florida. She attended Ayer Junior-Sr. High School and Deerfield Beach High School, ultimately graduating from Miami Killian Sr. High School in 1988. She pursued higher education at Broward Community College, earning her associate’s degree, and later enrolled in a Dental Assistant Program at Concorde Career Institute. After completing her studies, Marietta embarked on a fulfilling career in dental care. She dedicated 21 years to Deerfield Dental Services and later brought her warmth and expertise to Coral Springs Dental Center, where she left an enduring impact and forged lifelong friendships. Marietta was once married to Stanley Sterling Givens Jr., and from their union, a daughter and two sons were born. She delighted in life’s simple pleasures—baking, cheering on her beloved Dolphins on game day, and enjoying her favorite game shows. One of her greatest joys - aside from the companionship of her cherished Casper - was going to work. Though it may seem unexpected, her job was not merely a duty; it was her refuge, a welcome escape from the stresses of the world. Her deep faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she was a devoted member of the Cathedral Church of God. On the evening of Friday, February 28, 2025, the Lord called her home with the gentle words, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.” Marietta was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alice Webb and Unis L. Webb Jr., whose memory she treasured. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughter, Brittany Givens; her two sons, Stanley Sterling Givens III and DaVonté Givens; her sister, Marsha Payton; and her two brothers, Adrian Webb and Unis Leon Webb III (Gema). She was a loving aunt to her nephews, Brian and Aiden, and her nieces, Tasha, Alexandria, Ava, and Ajay. In addition, she is survived by her adored fur babies, Casper and Pokey Bear, Kiwi, and a host of extended family members and friends whose lives were forever enriched by her sweetness, strength, and unwavering love.
