Jalisa Michelle Moreland

The Glamorous Life Jalisa Michelle Moreland was born two months early on February 2, 1989 to John L. and Marshelle Moreland. She quickly sparked into our hearts and lives. She matriculated through the Broward County School system later graduating from Pompano Beach High School as a member of the Class of 2007. Upon graduating high school, she decided to further her education at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. While in Volusia County, she discovered her passion for makeup artistry and established Luxe Beautee, and catapulted to success. Through this avenue, Jalisa was known to the world as “GLAM” because of her bold expressions and vibrant spirit. After returning to South Florida, Jalisa developed a love for teaching. She started her educational career in Miami-Dade County Public Schools before settling in at North Broward Academy of Excellence (Charter Schools USA) as a fifth grade teacher. Jalisa was always the life of the party. While she had a fun spirit and infectious smile, she also remained grounded and was a proud mother. Of all her accomplishments, her greatest were her boys, Nasir and Noah. They were Jalisa’s world! She leaves to cherish in loving memory two loving sons Nasir John and Noah John. A bonus son, Jha’Leel Taylor. Two sisters, Tamika Moreland and Jennifer Jackson (Pastor T. Jackson). One brother, Norris Rochester. One niece, Amarii-Milaan. Maternal grandparents, Charles (deceased) and Alyce Martin Sr.. Paternal grandparents, John and Lois Moreland Sr..
