Letter From Flonnie If you are reading this, It could only mean one thing, that I, Flonnie Bell Adams Reed is on my way home. I hope I've done all the work that was assigned to me so that our Heavenly Father will say well done my good and faithful servant, come on up and receive your just reward. I am looking forward to seeing my Father, Ellie Walter Adams and my Mother, Julia Adams and my little sister, Joan Wiggins who preceded me in death. There is one member left in the immediate family, that's my brother, Walter Adams (Nip) Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Family Information I was born March 3, 1941 in Vidalia, Georgia. I attended Blanche Ely High School, graduating in 1959. I attended Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia for one year. I came home after one year and married my High School Sweetheart. From this union we were blessed with three children, Eric Jerome Reed, Pompano Beach, FL Janice LaJune Reed Phillips, Terence Philips (son-in-law) Fort Lauderdale, FL. Brian O’Neal Reed, Pompano Beach, FL. Three grand-children, Monica Patrice Reed, the late Tavaris Martel Phillips, and Brianna Zuri Reed. I have two Great grandchildren Genesis Alice Marie Phillips and Trinity Sky Janelle Phillips. I became a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at a very young age. Later my membership was moved to Abyssinian Baptist under the leadership of Pastor Terrance Kearney. I joined the Usher Board Chairperson for Hospitality Ministry, Food Ministry, and Matron, prayer Warrior, women ministry, Deaconess and a member and was nominated as a Mother of the Church and a good friend to my church family. Fond memories will be cherished by her husband, the love of her life, John Reed 62 years. Their three children and three grand-children and two great grandchildren. Nephew, Stanley Adams (Aleatha), Terrence Wiggins, Jonathan Wiggins all of Pompano Beach, FL. Sister-in-Laws, Late Grace Rolle, Pompano Beach, FL, Late Carolyn Lester, Pompano Beach, Fl. Beulah Taylor (Calvin), Wellington, Fla., Mae Spain, Delray, FL. and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends. My Dearest Husband, The love of life. We started dating in the eleventh grade. We grew up together, we experienced life lessons together. We had our ups and downs, we didn’t always agree, but we loved each other so much that no problem was big enough to come between us. Thank you darling for a good life. I would marry again in a second.
