Life’s Reflections of Mother Eva Nell Hamilton A Time to Be Born Eva Nell Hamilton was born on May 15, 1938 in a small town in Geneva County, Alabama. She was known to family and friends as “Nell”. She lived in Deerfield Beach, Fl for 60 years. She lived a full life until her death on Thursday morning at 6:45am on May 16, 2024. Eva received her education from Riverside Heights High School, located in Geneva County, Alabama. In 1938 Eva Nell Hamilton was born to David and Lillie Mae Jones Lee, they were blessed with Nine children, Ruthie, Eva, Eartha, Sara, Frankie, Jessie, David, James and Robert Earl. All of whom preceded her in death with the exception of Jessie Earl Lee Brown of Pompano Beach, Fl. A Time to Love In July 1956,, Eva married Willington Hedel Hamilton of Deerfield Beach, Florida. to this union. Three children were born, Mariea Yvonne Hamilton Strachan, Willington Hedel Hamilton, Jr., Cynthia Hamilton who passed at birth and her Stepson Tommy Lee Gunn, who she loved and cherished. A Time to Serve She was a Homemaker and she worked for a Furniture Fabricator Company in Pompano Beach. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Deerfield Beach and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Club of Deerfield Beach, FL. Eva Nell served Cathedral Church of God faithfully in these areas: Prayer Warrior, Prayer Intercessor, Senior Choir, Missions Department Secretary, Missionary, Girls Ministries, Prayer Mother and Usher Board. She has been a member of the Church for 50 years. A Time to Rest Eva Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband Willington Hamilton, Sr., and Daughter Cynthia Hamilton. Eva Hamilton leaves to cherish her memories, Three children, One Daughters Maria Hamilton Strachan (Knowlton, Sr., Deceased) , One Son Willington Hedel Hamilton, Jr.(Eddie Mae Hamilton, Deceased) of Deerfield Beach, FL, One Stepson Tommy Gunn (Linda) of Hinesville, Ga; Two Sisters-in-love Elvira Hamilton, Linda Hamilton (Noal deceased) of West Palm Beach, FL One Brother-in-law Ron Hamilton (Ruth Deceased of Los Angeles, CA; 12 Grandkids and 26 Great-Grandkids. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, godchildren, Church Family and Friends too numerous to name.
