Columbus Sanchious

On October 2, 2018 the Lord saw that the light was getting dim and the hills were hard to climb so He gently whispered in his ear “Peace be Thine.” On May 25, 1947 in Moultrie, Georgia, the earth was gifted with the birth of Columbus Sanchious, who was entrusted to the care of his father and mother, the Late Mr. George and Minnie Lee Sanchious. After living his life upon this earth; God called him home to rest. In Matthew 28:11, Jesus tells us, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Columbus Sanchious gave up his mortal form and found peae with his Heavenly Father. Columbus Sanchious was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life on December 18, 2003, to the late Willer Dean Derico Sanchious. His love for family knew no bounds, He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, two daughters: Brenda Lee, Ocala, Florida, Carolyn (David) Barclay, Deerfield Beach, FL; one step-daughter, Lynette Wright, Fort Lauderdale; four sons, Columbus Sanchious Jr., Robert Sanchious, Joshua Sanchious, Tavaise Addley; two step-sons, Melvin Derico and Emmanuel Watts, two brothers, Willie Charles (Chiquita) Sanchious of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Andrew Sanchious of Pompano Beach, FL; four sisters, Pastor Barbara J. Miller of Coconut Creek, FL, Willie Rean (Elder Ricky) Adams of Pompano Beach, FL, Pastor Dora (Harvey) Carter of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Missionary Peggy Ann Sanchious of Margate, FL; brother-in-law, Bishop J.D. Wright; one uncle, Mack (Eunice) Sims of Jacksonville, FL; twenty-two grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a world of friends, Today as we celebrate his life on a high, shouting “Hallelujah” in our hearts, praising and thanking our all-knowing Father who loaned us Columbus (Lumbo) Sanchious, a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. On Tuesday night October 2, 2018, our beloved Columbus Sanchious a man who loved life and all it had to offer him, went to sleep from this side and is no more suffering in this life. To God be the Glory, for Columbus Sanchious has found Peace and Joy in the Father’s House.
