Cillia Clark

Cillia’s Story…. Cillia Marie Clark affectionately known as “Monk aka Glam” was born on April 30, 1967, to Moses Steven Craig and Margaret Louise Clark in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She was the baby of five children, Lorea Wilson (Greg), Margaret Gilbert, Moses Craig, and Maxine Craig Gaskin (deceased). She attended Broward County Public Schools and attended Blanche Ely High School, where she was known to be the class clown, and making people laugh. She graduated from Blanche Ely High School in 1986. She started her career at Publix where she later retired and began working at Brandsmart where she worked for several years. She later became a Broward County Public Schools Bus Driver. Her life spoke of vibrance and love. Monk aka Glam loved to have fun and was an outgoing and jolly person. She loved to read and had a library of books that she would read from. She loved children, hence, her love for her job as a bus driver, and she loved the children she drove. Monk aka Glam worked as a school bus driver from 2003 - 2025. Monk aka Glam was crazy about Cameron Carter her great nephew “CC” who shared the same initials as she did, and goddaughter Samantha Wright. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews and the children of her friends who she had a special bond with always laughing and joking with them. Monk aka Glam had a love for purses and perfume, every chance she got she would purchase them. She loved hanging out with family and friend and just being outside watching what was going on in the neighborhood. Monk aka Glam LOVED LIFE! She leaves to cherish her legacy, memory and love, her daughter Shakera Green, one grandson: Aavier Sheppard, siblings: Moses Craig, Jr., Margaret Gilbert, Lorea Wilson Jones, David Craig, Anthony Craig, and Ricky Walters, 10 nieces and nephews, 4 great-great nieces and nephews, goddaughter Samantha Wright, boyfriend: Torrance Stephens, best friends: Cyndy Floyd, Trina Moss, Melodye Haynes, and Ella Singletary, and special friend Connie Johnson, and a host of cousins, and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
