Allen Lee Searcy

Deacon Allen Lee Searcy, 73, of Deerfield Beach, Florida went home to be with the Lord on March 25th, 2024. He was born to the late James Clinton Searcy and the late Christine Hutcherson Searcy on December 13th, 1950, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He attended Lincoln Park Elementary School and Drake High School after high school he joined the United States Army. After leaving the army, he worked as a foreman at Central Broward Construction as a masonry until retirement. He also taught masonry at Atlantic Technical College. Deacon Allen Lee Searcy married the late Deaconess Fannie Jordan Searcy on September 4th, 1976, and resided in Deerfield Beach, FL. He joins St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend BT Wilson and in later years on the leadership of Rev. Dr. Wylie L. Howard, Sr. Deacon Allen Services was a devoted husband, father, and servant of the Church. He was kind, caring, strong, hardworking, patient, understanding, supportive, wise, and always gave great advice. He liked to spend time with his family on holidays. Although he was quiet, he had a great sense of humor. He loved playing his guitar and he enjoyed sports, especially football and basketball. His favorite teams were the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat. Deacon Allen Searcy is survived by his daughters, Alison Searcy; and Lakesha (Daniel Jeune) Searcy; his son Anthony Searcy, and one daughter-in-law, Letitia Ponder. He is preceded in death by three sons, twins Allen Searcy and Allen Searcy 2nd, and Charlieton Searcy. He is survived by 11 grandchildren, Articia Ponder, De’Andre Searcy, Adrian, Jeune, Christopher, Jeune, Amirie Searcy, Jacory Jeune, Cha’tyra Searcy, Jonathan Searcy, Cory Thurston, McKenzie Jeune, and Ariel Searcy. He is survived by Three siblings, Harvey T. (Minnie Lois) Searcy, Robert (Minister Joanne) Searcy, and Thelma Blasingame. Preceded in death Two brothers Willie B. Searcy and Otha James, in-laws that survived him which are Irma Jones and Everlene Jordan sister in-laws and Eddie Jordan brother in-law. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
